Due to the lack of people attending the lans, we have decided to close.
Over half the people signed up to the last lan didn't turn up.
This has been something that has been getting worse and worse of late.
As a result, uklanparty is closing down.
No more lans and the game server will finish at the end of the month.
Thanks for all the Fun times. Maybe we can still go along as a group to other lans, but no more will be held by us.

UK LAN Party host Weekend LAN Party Gaming Events, in Milton Keynes.
These events are BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer/Console) events where everyone brings their PC and plugs them into our Gigabit Network and play face to face with other gamers.
Our network supports 24 ports 10/100/1000 mbps (Gigabit network). Most lan party events will only have a 10/100 network (10 times slower than ours).
Gaming event details are listed in the 'Events' section of the website and the next LAN can be found to the left for your convenience. Just click on the date in the 'Next Event' block to see full details.
Membership is free and comes with added features like the online_user_chat module, the ability to post in the forum, book a place at the next LAN Party and an free upload section for signature hosting.
Notifications are sent out for the events via email and you can get SMS Notifications aswell by adding your mobile number to the "SMS Notifications" menu option on the left of the website or click the following link.

So come along to one of our LAN parties, you won't be disappointed!!
I have moved the website hosting back to the UK and I hope we notice a large speed increase to the website as a result.

Bandwidth: The switch has enough bandwidth for full duplex (1gig up and 1gig down) accross all ports at the same time (48GBPS switching bandwidth) with a backup 10/100 network as a failsafe.
What does that mean?. This means everyone can use the gigabit network at the same time at full speed. This is not a cheap network setup and most lan party events will only have a 10/100mbps network (10 times slower than ours).
As requested by the community, we now have a "SMS Notifications" system in the website menu. Here you can add and delete your mobile numbers that you want SMS notifications to be sent to when a new event is added to the site.
The numbers are kept safe so only you can access them and only used for sending SMS notificatoins of events.
We are looking for more game server admins to help with the upkeep and running of the game servers.
Admin on all our game servers costs ?7.50 per month, single server costs ?4 per month. This money is used to pay for the servers and to keep their hardware up to date.
